With the advancement of technology, China’s shipbuilding industry has undergone significant development. Due to work requirements, the unmanned exploration ship industry has gradually emerged. In unfamiliar waters, there are often unknown dangers. In such cases, we can use carbon fiber unmanned exploration ships to collect information, analyze the collected information, and thereby ensure the safety of the operators’ lives. China has an area of 9.6 million square kilometers, with more than 4.7 million square kilometers being water area. In many newly discovered water areas, exploration is needed to determine the conditions of the water. Entering blindly may pose a danger to life, so the first round of exploration using carbon fiber unmanned exploration ships is essential.

Due to different customer needs and designs, the first step is mold opening. The mold cycle is approximately one month, with the specific time fluctuating depending on the complexity of the product. After the mold is completed, production begins. Taking the hot press molding process as an example:

1. Material placement and molding: Apply carbon fiber composite materials to the mold surface, paying attention to details such as the layering angle. Place the mold with the applied material into the hot press for heating and pressing. After a one-day hot press molding process, a product blank is obtained.

2. Edge cutting and machining: The newly molded carbon fiber unmanned ship blank has an uneven appearance, so it needs to be trimmed and machined to increase the product’s aesthetics and improve its precision. This step takes approximately one day, fluctuating based on the size and complexity of the product.

3. Gluing: Some ships require gluing the upper and lower shells together, which takes 1 day (this step can be omitted if not needed).

4. Painting and drying: After the above steps, the carbon fiber unmanned ship shell is almost complete. Apply the desired color based on customer needs, followed by drying. At this point, the carbon fiber unmanned ship shell is completed, and the remaining work is to install the electronic components
