In the launch of Pinarello’s flagship “DOGMA F”, the Campagnolo SUPER RECORD WIRELESS, the company’s latest generation of bicycles, was officially unveiled. The proud flagship “DOGMA F” from Pinarello received a complete overhaul in June this year, with improved performance.

The new DOGMA F, developed with the keyword “pursuit of perfection”, further improves its predecessor, and the bike before the transformation is already one of the few high-performance racing cars in the industry, and with this performance update, it further firmly establishes its position as the best racing car.
The DOGMA F model is characterized by meeting all the performance requirements of a high-level racing car, such as aerodynamics, rigidity, weight and comfort. Unlike other companies, DOGMA F’s performance and philosophy have been adapted to meet the needs of all types of athletes, from climbers to sprinters.
In terms of raw materials, the new DOGMA F has updated and upgraded this round, thus increasing the combat power. The previous model used the third-generation high-strength T1100 carbon fiber, and the new DOGMA F has further improved performance by switching to the third-generation high-modulus M40X carbon fiber.
The M40X is a high-performance carbon fiber that has been tested on lightweight versions of the X-Light and Ineos Grenadiers team bikes with excellent tensile modulus, allowing the frame to achieve new levels of lateral rigidity. By using this new material, the weight of the frame kit has been reduced by 120 grams.

Carbon fiber frames are composed of a carbon fiber mixture and typically have a higher modulus structure in high stress areas to increase stiffness. The new M40X carbon fiber is mainly located in the modified bottom bracket joint. Compared to the X-Light’s 85kg rider weight limit, the new Dogma F’s frame weight limit is increased to 120kg for a 41% increase in load-carrying capacity.
In addition, the car’s aerodynamics have been improved. Using the knowledge accumulated during the hour record bike, the various components were updated. At the front, where the air resistance is most affected, the head tube and the lower tube are thinner. To this end, the front parts and fork posts have been completely redesigned to maintain the necessary rigidity despite the slender body, while also helping to reduce weight.

Pinarello uses Torayca carbon fiber in its bicycles, and Toray’s manufacturing process ensures a high degree of control over the properties of the carbon fiber, resulting ina reliable and predictable material.
Pinarello bikes use different grades of carbon fiber, including the T1100, T900, T700 and T600 models.
T1100 Carbon fiber: Before the replacement of the third generation M40X high modulus carbon fiber, Pinarello’s most high-end carbon fiber products were designed to achieve the ultimate stiffness to weight ratio.
Pinarello used this highest quality carbon fiber to design the T1100 carbon fiber frame for its flagship Pinarello Dogma F series.
T900 Carbon Fiber: Another high-quality carbon fiber offered by Pinarello, which is slightly less rigid and heavier than the T1100, is mainly used in Pinarello F series road bikes such as the F9 and F7.
T700 Carbon fiber: Slightly lower performance than the T900, but still achieves the perfect balance between weight, stiffness and cost. It is mainly used in mid-range models such as the Pinarello F5.
T600 Carbon Fiber: The entry level of the Pinarello carbon fiber series, which is heavier and less rigid, but can provide better comfort, it is used in the endurance road bike series Pinarello X.
